Free WhatsApp for Nokia Asha : Download and Installation (Working tutorial)

Many people have ditched their costly N and E or series Nokia phones for a new IOS or Android mobile. Asha range of phones is used by 1000s of people which are known to be loyal users and fans of Nokia. I've met some users who'll not sell their Nokia handsets even if you pay them the full amount they had paid while buying the device for the first time.

Anyways, Mobiles in Asha series are not very powerful but this doesn't mean that you can't use your favorite communication app on it. WhatsApp is popular because it supports many operating system platforms. You can also run it on any Nokia Asha device that you know. However, you will not be able to enjoy the free voice calling feature if the handset is not able to detect 3G networks. If you want to call your friend without being subjected to voice calling charges, you should try Nanu or any other similar app. Well, if you are having a hard time in making running or installing WhatSapp on Nokia Asha, follow the below instructions to get the app working:

As mentioned earlier, WhastApp supports old entry level phones from Nokia. To use it, activate internet on PC and open the Chrome browser (or any other application you use to surf the internet). Click this link to open the page where you'll be able to download WhatsApp.jad file. The browser will save the file to your PC if you click on download file button on the page which you've opened by clicking on the link that we've shared above (you can find the file in downloads folder). If you're using a laptop, open the folder where the .jad has been saved, activate Bluetooth on mobile phone and send the .jad to the phone.

Connect one end of the USB cable to the Nokia Asha 200, 201, 202, 203, 205, 206 ,210 up to 501 phone and other to the USB port of the PC. Copy the .jad file to the memory card of the phone. Now open the file explorer program and visit the older where WhatsApp.jad has been stored. Open this file. WhatsApp will be now installed.

Now you should be able to run WhatsApp. Before users send pictures or messages to their contacts, they should first register their mobile number. Make sure that you've added all your friends numbers to the phone book. WhatsApp users can send messages only to the contacts in their phone book.

The above tricks will work 100% on all types of java phones. Don't worry about the brand. Follow the above instructions in the same sequence as shared in the above paragraphs.
